About Grace

I grew up in Harrisonburg, Virginia and graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a creative writing minor. During the 2023-2024 academic year, I narrowed my research down to a study of Virginia Woolf as a nature writer, and a broader study of women nature writers during the modernist period, and their influences in the succeeding literary traditions.

From January to June 2025, I backpacked solo in Europe, working at hostels, taking film pictures, writing, and meeting people from around the world. This portfolio is pictures and writing from this time, as well as my time at GW, and studying abroad in London and backpacking Europe for the first time in 2022, and again in 2023.
